The Easter Bunny is Back! With 7,500 Eater Eggs!

Back by popular demand, Sunshine Toyota is again hosting a FREE Easter Egg Hunt at the Alex Surf Club on Easter Saturday, March 26. Last year's event was such a tremendous success that we are making this year bigger and better!

We have teamed up with the Alex Surf Club, Sea FM and other local businesses who will very generously donate their time, materials and services to ensure that this free, fun, family morning can continue. We hope that it becomes the favourite calendar event for families on the coast. Sometimes it is not about selling cars, but just giving back to our community.
We will hold 5 free Easter Egg Hunts every half an hour from 8am-10am and the kids will be split into 5-12years and Under 5s. This worked really well last year so the littleys didn't miss out!

Twisted Mr will again be dazzling the kids with his balloon creations, Miss Harriet will be painting faces and Jump Amusements will have their jumping castle ready to go. The Youth Committee will also be doing a Brekky BBQ. The Easter Bunny will be making an appearence too.
It is set to be a terrific morning, so come on down and bring the family! Rain, hail or shine- we will be there!

Take the Money and Run...Overseas!

The winner of the Sunshine Toyota and Ausmar Homes “Car or Cash Giveaway” has chosen to take the money and run … overseas!

Sunshine Toyota and Ausmar Homes joined forces to give one lucky person the chance to win a new Toyota Yaris or ten thousand dollars cash as part of the four month giveaway promotion.

The winner, Nicole Emmerson from Kallangur, was drawn at the auction of Wishlist charity home project, The House The Coast Built.

“I couldn’t believe it when I received the call to say I’d won!” she said.

“I was totally overcome and couldn’t make a decision on whether or not to take the cash or the car!”

Mrs Emmerson and her husband Allan decided to claim the $10,000 cash to put towards their first overseas trip in celebration of ten years of marriage this May.

Josh Green and Darren Venning draw the winner
Last week the happy couple were presented with their cheque by Sunshine Toyota’s Darren Venning and Ausmar Homes’ Josh Green.

“Ausmar Homes and Sunshine Toyota have built a strong relationship as we are both Alliance Partners to local not-for-profit organisation Wishlist – the Foundation dedicated to fundraising for the needs of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service,” Mr Venning said.

“We are so proud of our involvement with Wishlist and furthermore, it’s great to team up with like-minded businesses such as Ausmar who have community values that align with our team at Sunshine Toyota,” he said.

Sunshine Toyota and Ausmar Homes received over three thousand entries in the ‘Car or Cash’ giveaway.

Entry points were located at The House The Coast Built and The Alex Surf Club, and online on both organisations’ websites. Wishlist also helped to promote the giveaway though its social media network.
